Nestled in Sacramento’s vibrant community at 5340 Auburn Blvd, The Cinder’s Bar is a hidden gem that stands out as a welcoming and lively dive bar experience. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated with crowd-favorites and intriguing twists. From the zesty and invigorating Bloody Mary to the peat-rich smoothness of Jameson Irish Whiskey paired with an unexpected splash of pickle juice, there’s something to tease and satisfy your palate. Fans of creative blends will also appreciate the refreshing Tokyo Tea and the sweet yet tart notes of the Cherry Margarita. While some patrons find the pours a touch on the smaller side, the quality and flavor consistently win them over, making every sip an experience worth savoring.

Food isn’t served onsite in a traditional kitchen, but the bar thoughtfully coordinates with local food vendors who frequently set up outside. This means you can enjoy tasty bites alongside your drinks, enhancing that community street-fair feel that many guests find so appealing. The outdoor patio creates a lively yet comfortable setting, particularly on warm evenings, where laughter and stories flow as easily as the cocktails.

Been here only twice so far, but it’s pretty much a perfect bar. Both visits have been quiet, both bartenders have been attentive and friendy, and the regulars were all friendly and eager to introduce themselves. Interior atmosphere is dark, warm, and full of halloween decor. If you smoke, there’s a spacious back patio with umbrella coverage for rain. Finally, I ordered a Moscow Mule both times - both times I could taste the vodka and there was more mix than at other local bars (that is, it wasn’t all ice), so I actually stayed a while sipping on just one drink and unwinding after work instead of feeling like I was done within a few minutes. I wish I had discovered this establishment sooner, it’s become my go to bar in just two visits.

Honestly, it's a great dive bar. It's usually like family even if you know nobody. Very welcoming. No kitchen but snacks and sometimes outside food for sale. Patio out back for drinking. Several nighttime events throughout week and month

The staff are friendly, the drinks are a bit small but they're good. Not the best, but enjoyable. I'll be going back for social events held there. They have unusual activities.

Great service accompanying pool tables, darts and a spacious common area. Drinks were great and made in a timely manner. Out door area is spacious as well.

Came here for the pinball machine. The machine is pretty nice just kinda gross. That's kind of how the whole establishment feels. It feels as if it's be nice if we just turned the lights up a bit and cleaned the floors or something a little. Waitress was nice, but the other customers were a little rude. Next time I'm in town I most likely won't be back, but I can see this being a popular place. It has darts, pinball, music, and more.
